MILD STEEL SCRAP

Mild steel scrap is the leftover material from manufacturing or construction projects that contain mild steel. This can include everything from scrap metal pipes and beams to leftover metal sheets and plates.

Steel that has been previously manufactured and used, and which has then come to the end of its life in that form, can be infinitely recycled. As such, it is another important raw material in steelmaking. There are about 20 different grades of scrap that can make different types of new steel.

Advantages

It is a commonly used material in the construction industry due to its durability and strength. Mild steel scrap is also used in the production of automotive parts, machinery, and equipment.

MS Plate Cutting Scrap is a valuable resource for companies in the metalworking, construction, and manufacturing industries. It can be used in the production of new steel products or recycled to create new materials.

Applications

Mild steel scrap:

Mild steel scrap is also used as a raw material in steel production, particularly for making products that require low-carbon steel with specific properties. It can be recycled and reused in various applications where mild steel is needed.

HMS scrap:

HMS scrap is commonly used as a raw material in steel production, where it is melted down and used to make new steel products. It is often processed in electric arc furnaces or basic oxygen furnaces to produce new steel.
